First (light) training session

Today I have taken the first hurdle. Light training session. Now curious what the coming sessions will bring. Today squat 3x3 150kg, deadlift 3x3 160kg and bench press 3x3 100kg. With bench press you can see that my strength is totally gone in my left arm. Tomorrow, the goal is to train even lighter (some more sets and reps). The coming days only squats, bench press and deadlifts. Hope to start Monday with my normal program (exercises).

Second (light) training session

Can you imagine that I have sore muscles from the training from yesterdag surprise So I did the lighter training like I planned (and I did lighter than I have had planned enlightened) Squat 5x5 100kg, RDL's 5 sets with 110kg and bench press 5x5 80kg + 20x20 60kg. Strength I'm left arm is bad..... I'm curious how my body will feel tomorrow..... Most important: I'm glad I'm in training again....

Third training session, little bit heavier :-)

Although my legs felt still sore, I planned to squat with wraps. During the warming-up the squats felt and went better than yesterday :-) With loose knee wraps (5 instead of 7) I squatted 3x3 180kg laugh sumo deadlift felt a little bit harder and with belt I deadlifted 3x3 170kg. Bench press went also better enlightened With RAM I was able to press easy 3x3 110kg. The Super RAM gives support and confidence for heavier weights.

Today I did the same as Thursday. It felt much better and easier laugh So tomorrow I want to make the next step towards the Europeans. Believe of competiting is growing smiley

Training 5 since last Wednesday smiley On my way to recover and setting myself to get a level to compete at the Europeans next month. 5 weeks training ahead. Today I squatted suit (straps down) 3x3 210kg. Deadlift 3x220kg and bench press 3x3 120kg (with super RAM). Wednesday some light training, so I can gain some weights on Friday.

Training today went like the training of Friday. Only with squats I wear yellow jackets instead of knee wraps  and did 3x3 180kg. Deadlift 3x3 190kg followed by RDL's 3x6 120kg. Recovery the strength in my left arm is improving. Today

I was able to press  3x5 100kg instead triples last week. Hope to  press triples with 160kg wearing my loose bench press coming Friday.

33 days to Europeans Powerlifting Masters. So I'm pushing myself to get on an acceptable level. Although my body felt still sore from my trainingsession of Friday, nevertheless the will to train was like I wanted. Squats ( training (loose) suit, straps down) 3x3 240kg. Depth is also going into the right direcion. Friday at least 290kg squats in training suit? surprise Conventional deadlift was working. I pulled 3x237,5kg. Aiming to sumo deadlift at least 270kg on Friday, in my training suit. Biggest challenge is the strength in my left arm. Recovery of my nerve damage is going slow. Hard to press 3x3 110kg, followed by 3x3 130kg with super RAM. I hope I will be able  to press at least 190kg on the Europeans.  Time is counting cool Last Friday I wasn't able to press 160kg. Friday I will go 150kg and followed by 170kg. It's helps me to focus on the positive things (what I'm able to do, instead thinking about the things as was able to do a few weeks ago). I believe the meet that every thing falls together is coming closer, each day smiley The quesion is: What will be an acceptable level to compete at the European Powerlifitng Masters 2015?

Wednesday recovery traning? Nope.... sore legs .......

Last wednesday I did 3x3 180kg squats. Today I had the plan to do 3x3 200kg. During the warming-up I felt that my legs were still sore laugh Therefore I just it a little bite and squatted 3x190, 3x195kg and finally 3x200kg (RAW). My RAW power is coming back. Deadlift was hard due the sore legs and during the sets with 200kg, also my back became sore cheeky Bench press was hard and the power in my left arm is returning. Was able to do 2x8 100kg. When you watch the 2nd set you can see what happen with my left arm during the last reps cool

During my heaviest set I let distract me. Therefore I made an error during my 2nd rep with 290kg and made balance error surprise Nevertheless squats felt very good and give me confidence for the coming weeks. Next week hold my focus and hit 3x280kg. Bench press was the biggest question. I'm very pleased that I was able to press 1x170kg with shirt. Last Friday I missed 160kg with shirt. So my left arm is recovering yes Next week I aim to press 180kg again. Deadlift was ok. Nothing. I deadlifted 1x255kg. Goal is to deadlift next week Friday more, because I will do less weight with squats. First tomorrow "recovery" training squats, bench press and sumo deadlifts.
