Training went well today. Classic (raw) squats 2x2 205kg, bench press 2x2 127,5kg and deadlift 2x3 215kg. My confident in my classic (raw) squats is gaining and bench press strength is also better :-)

Although my legs were stiff, the training went well. 3x3 150kg pause squats (no belt/no sleeves, ofcourse wink) Closer grip bench press felt also good 3x3 107,5kg. Looking forward if I will be able to make more reps with +130kg coming Friday. Also I hope to get news from the hospital in Groningen this week. They recieved referral last Friday.

Yesterday I had contact with the hospital in Groningen. I get a letter with an invite for our first appointment on 21st of December. Okay it is fare away and I'm glad with this next step. It reassures me. yes Coming days and next week I will start up doing a little bit more work my work and see how my trigemus nerve will react on it.... fingers crossed.... Today's training went solid. Very pleased how easy my block pulls went (without belt). Started with close grip bench press and ended with 3x107,5kg. Slow squats 3x3 140kg (ofcourse no sleeves and no belt wink) Deadlift from block I ended with a solid 2x3 205kg without belt.... So Friday I hope to gain some weight compare last Friday smiley

Very pleased how my training went today yesyes Raw strength is gaining step by step. Treatment of my leg is helping me, to get my confidence back, to put (almost) 100% power on my leg muscle smiley After 3x200kg squat, I did 2 sets of 2 reps with 210kg surprise Bench press felt also good today and I was able to make doubles instead of singles what I did before my Worlds with 132,5kg. Raw sumo deadlifting is always is always hard for me compare conventional raw deadlift. Today I managed to pull 2x2 225kg cheeky

Although I have the last day some more pain in my face angry The training went well. Pause squats 3x3 155kg (no sleeves / no belt) and closer grip bench press 3x5 105kg (legs up). Because I've an appointment on 21st December and I won't compete at the Classic Nationals next week, I will do a classic test for myself on Friday 16th December. After 21st December I won't know what the doctors says. I hope they will operate very soon after our first meeting.

Steady training today. Close grip bench press 3x5 105kg (legs up yes) Slow squats 3x3 140kg (no belt / no sleeves, ofcourse wink) Deadlift standing on block 2x4 150kg. Friday a step forward in my squat and bench press?

Tough training, due all the mental issues. Nevertheless I manage to squat 2x215kg again yes. Although it was tough. Watch my warm-up with 190kg and I almost failed two times, during 1 set surprise Bench press was hard. My 2nd rep with 135kg was 1st lock-out my right arm and then came the fight to lock-out my left arm. This is a big success at this stage for me. Deadlift was tough and I had to lift 2x3 205kg. 2 weeks out for my classic test.......

Today I want to show you the difference to train without and with gear. Because in my opinion is Classic no RAW lifting, just 'semi' equippend surprise That is my statement angel
Today I did 3 set pause squats with 150kg. Each set I made 5 reps. In the first set I don't wear my belt or knee sleeves. In my second set I wear my belt and no knee sleeves. In my third and final set I wear my belt and knee sleeves. Although I wear my belt loose and I didn't wear tight knee sleeves, I want to invited to watch the video below and watch the difference in sets. This is what equipped dosurprise

Earlier morning session and not totally fit. Nevertheless program fullfilled yes Squat 3x3 190kg, bench press 3x3 120kg and deadlift 3x3 190kg. Friday next week I will do a test and put a DOT behind 2016 cheeky Then at 21 December I have an appointment in Groningen and I hope they will surgeon me very quick after that date. I keep you posted. All lifter who are competing at the Dutch Classic Powerlifting Nationals this weekend. Good luck yes

Max training 15-12-2016 Squat 235kg, bench press 140kg and 245kg deadlift

Today I had a test training. What was I able to do. Squat went better than expected and I finished with 235kg (before I did singles with 210, 222,5 and 230) Bench press felt also good and I finished finally with 140kg again (before I did a single with 130 and 137,5kg) Deadlift felt a little bit heavier than I expected after singles with 220 and 235 I finished with 245kg. Overall a total of 620kg. At this stage I'm very pleased with. The last days the tension is growing for my appointment coming Wednesday. Hopefully 2017 will bring more health. Hopefully the doctors in Groningen hosipital will help me very soon. At this stage I can tell it cost me a lot of energy to do the normal times. Hopefully I can you Wednesday what the next step(s) will be......... Wish you all a nice weekend! Henk, Gerrit, Wil, Chico, Wesley, Jordi and Sien thank you for tonights training.
